Relief
I finally got my Diclectin renewed and took two about an hour ago and am feeling great now. I ran out quite awhile ago and was just taking gravol when things got bad. I was back to throwing up every couple of days which is fine - as long as I'm at home and don't have to do anything. Then on Sunday I got slammed. I almost passed out in church when we were singing - got really hot and had to sit down and almost decided to leave but then felt a bit better once everyone else sat down. Then we went to Dane's and had a lovely lunch with friends. Then we went to see Dave and Tanis' new house. It's very nice. They're excited to finally have their own place. Channing's room is downstairs cause the other bedroom upstairs will be the baby room so we'll see if she stays there... It's a cute bungalow and is close to a school so I think they'll be happy there.
Later on Sunday we were looking after my sister at my parents house. I had a headache all day long then got really bad heartburn. Wow - it's amazing how horrible heartburn can make you feel. Then I started throwing up and to top things off I got a nosebleed. (haha Dane - typical me!) So it was so pathetic I almost laughed except that I felt to crappy. Finally it stopped and we went home.
Then I got up at 3am and barfed some more. I think I slept a total of four hours that night because we had to get up early for a Dr's appointment. That went well though - she said everything looks good, I 've gained a couple more pounds and my blood pressure's perfect. She was trying to listen to the baby's heartbeat and it wouldn't stay still - we were all laughing cause she would get it and then you'd hear a little swish and it would disappear and she'd have to find it again. So other than me still feeling sick, the pregnancy's going great. I can feel the baby kicking more and more and sometimes Zach can feel it too which is exciting. I'm really excited for when it kicks and you can see the little foot etc.
I get to go away this next weekend! Tanis and I are going on a scrapbooking retreat at Kadesh. I'm really excited to just get away for a bit and also to spend some time with Tanis cause we never get to hang out. I'm going to work on our wedding scrapbook and hopefully have that done before I have to start a baby album.
Not much else going on...I'm pretty sure I got the census job so will start training the end of April. Yay - it's decent money and it'll be nice to get out a bit more.
