Done done done
All done census stuff! Yay. Now that I'm done I'm glad I did it. It was worth the money I'll be getting paid. (Even though it will all go to bills and to a new furnace! I can't even buy something fun!) Dane came with me last Friday and then again today. Zach came with me on the weekend, Wendy came with me on Monday and my dad and I went out all day yesterday. I have great friends and family! It was really nice having people with me and it made the work easier and the days go by faster. Dane and I saw a few interesting dogs that were a bit scary so I would just drive as close to a vehicle as I could and leave the forms on their rearview mirrors. It worked well.
I don't know what I'm going to do with myself now. I guess I should get caught up on laundry and housework but it's just so boring I hate doing it. I think I'm bound to have a messy house for the rest of my life. Oh well, I've been realizing there are more important things in life - like spending precious time with my husband before our baby comes, hanging out with friends and enjoying my little sister and family.
We had our Dr's appointment last Friday and she said all is well. She's really impressed with my weight gain (as am I - only 13 pounds total) and we haven't heard anything back about the glucose test so no news is good news with that. The baby moves around lots but stops whenever someone wants to see or feel it. I think it's got a sense of humor already. One more month and then it's Dr's appointments every two weeks. These last three months are going to fly...
It's Dalmeny Garage sale day on Saturday. We're having one with my parents so hopefully can get rid of some junk that we've accumulated. I have an antique Singer sewing machine that I'm going to try and sell too and hopefully get a decent amount for it. Have a great weekend!
